Job Description:

This role involves supporting a team of international video creators, scriptwriters, and editors in producing outstanding video content that drives education accessibility for all.

  • Collaborate with creators to develop video content optimized for YouTube engagement and discoverability.
  • Onboard and support creators to ensure efficient video creation.
  • Experiment with innovative video formats adapted to target channels, including formats inspired by successful content outside traditional educational content (e.g., listicles, explainers, visual essays).
  • Leverage AI and tech tools to streamline production and improve video quality.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and direction to enhance content strategy.
  • Monitor trends and platform updates to drive innovation and viewer engagement.
  • Communicate with freelancers and provide clear support, feedback, and troubleshooting.
  • Proactively report production rates, obstacles, and resource requests to the team lead.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in video creation with a strong understanding of the YouTube ecosystem.
  • Skilled in sourcing and guiding video content creators to produce engaging, platform-optimized content.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere and familiar with other editing and graphics tools.
  • Experienced in scripting, storyboarding, producing videos, and collaborating with editors.
  • Data-savvy and comfortable running content experiments to improve engagement and retention.
  • Strong creative instincts with a passion for trends, effective titling, thumbnails, and pacing.
