Job Summary

The Senior Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing system development and leading a team of System Engineers. He or She will develop and sustain subsystems and system components in various custom-built, multi-platform environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the SED and oversee project execution.
  • Develop and sustain subsystems and system components in various custom-built, multi-platform environments.
  • Evaluate and recommend system architecture and platforms for in-house developed and third-party applications.
  • Lead the development of new applications and define their architecture, components, interfaces, and other characteristics.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any related field.
  • Ten years of experience in system development, production support, or a similar field.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership or management role overseeing cross-platform system development team.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
