Job Overview

This role works directly with our lead developer/co-founder to implement frontend features and functionality. The ideal candidate will excel at taking clear requirements and translating them into high-quality code that follows established conventions and patterns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement frontend features using React.js and JavaScript based on provided specifications
  • Follow established coding conventions, patterns, and architectural guidelines
  • Conduct thorough manual QA and testing of implemented features
  • Read and understand detailed requirements, asking clarifying questions when needed
  • Collaborate with the lead engineer to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Write clean, maintainable code adhering to our engineering standards
  • Participate in code reviews focusing on learning and consistency
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues methodically and thoroughly
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and React.js
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality
  • Excellent ability to follow established coding styles and conventions
  • Proven track record of implementing features based on written requirements
  • Experience with manual QA and testing methodologies
  • Strong reading comprehension and ability to ask clarifying questions
  • Self-motivated and effective in a remote-work environment
