Key to our organization's success is scalability and reliability in the infrastructure powering production and development environments.

This role will focus on designing, implementing, and supporting scalable, reliable infrastructure to power production and development environments. To achieve this goal, expertise in container orchestration systems, preferably with Kubernetes (EKS), while maintaining a balanced view of other critical AWS services such as EC2, ALB, IAM, and VPC networking, is required.

Additionally, this position involves building and maintaining automation for application and infrastructure deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management.

A key responsibility will be partnering with software engineering teams to improve build, release, and monitor system availability, latency, and performance across the full stack from cloud infrastructure to backend services.

The successful candidate will develop internal tools and scripts to enhance operational efficiency, resilience, and security.

Also, playing a key role in incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and long-term remediation, will be essential.

In addition, participating in architecture reviews and helping guide decisions on infrastructure design, resilience, and observability, is expected.

Moreover, staying informed on industry trends in reliability engineering, cloud-native tooling, and DevOps practices, and integrating improvements into our operational playbook will be necessary.

Championing security, scalability, and cost-efficiency in all infrastructure decisions will be critical to the success of this role.

For consideration, the ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role supporting production systems at scale.

Hands-on experience managing containerized applications using Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS, but with understanding of broader infrastructure ecosystems, is required.

Strong knowledge of AWS services and how they integrate to support modern computing architectures is also essential.

Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, and configuration management tools is required.

Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines, e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar, is also expected.

Skills in programming languages like Python, Go, or similar used for automation and tooling are desirable.

Furthermore, a deep understanding of systems observability, including logging, metrics, and tracing, e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, is essential.

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems, including performance bottlenecks and availability challenges, is required.

Familiarity with security best practices for cloud and containerized environments is also expected.

Clear and proactive communication skills, comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, are necessary.
