Job Description:

The Warehouse Operations Manager at Environatural Corporation is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, inventory, and logistics teams. This role involves supervising staff, implementing strategies to improve performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Supervision and Leadership:
    • Oversee the daily operations and workflow of the Warehouse, Inventory, and Logistics teams;
    • Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff performance, providing constructive feedback and conducting performance evaluations;
    • Evaluate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas of improvement in each team member and of the whole department efficiently;
    • Promptly resolve issues in the department and ensure minimal disruption to operations;
    • Assist in handling disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.
  2. Process Improvement:
    • Work with the Assistant Manager for Operations and other department heads to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost reduction;
    • Continuously evaluate and enhance the warehouse, inventory, and logistics processes to meet evolving business requirements.
  3. Operational Efficiency:
    1. Inventory Management:
      • Ensure that the inventory of raw materials is up-to-date and properly recorded in the Company's ERP System;
      • Oversee the conduct of quarterly/annual inventory count and prepare the relevant report;
      • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory control, reduce excess stock, and minimize expirations;
      • Verify and oversee the movement of stock and raw materials in and out of the warehouse;
      • Monitor the overall condition of raw materials and stock in the warehouse by effectively overseeing warehouse staff, repacking team, and administrative personnel;
      • Ensure that the operations team adheres to the processes and policies established by Management;
      • Closely monitor and update the Management and Sales Executives on the status of stocks (Good/Near Expiry/Expired);
      • Ensure regular monitoring of the temperature and relative humidity in the warehouse.
    2. Warehouse Maintenance:
      • Oversee the overall warehouse maintenance and coordinate with the Admin Team Lead and warehouse staff regarding the schedule of maintenance/repairs;
      • Coordinate with different departments and the Admin Team Lead regarding the replenishment of office supplies and consumables;
      • Coordinate with the Quality Assurance and Research & Development (QARD) Department on the scheduled internal audit of the warehouse;
      • Ensure warehouse equipment, including but not limited to weighing scales, jack lifters, stackers, CCTV, etc., are regularly calibrated/maintained and operational;
      • Engage the lessor/lessor's staff and/or third-party suppliers regarding warehouse repairs and maintenance.
    3. Logistics Management:
      • Coordinate with the Logistics team on the daily schedules of their deliveries;
      • Supervise the overall maintenance of the vehicle/fleet, in coordination with the Logistics Team Lead, including but not limited to:
        • Monitoring the regular schedules of Periodic Maintenance Service or PMS of each vehicle;
        • Ensuring timely annual registration of the fleet;
        • Recording the overall condition of the fleet;
        • Properly scheduling the repairs/maintenance of the fleet;
        • Ensuring sufficient balance and coordinating the reloading of each vehicle's electronic toll payment;
        • Monitor and coordinate with the Safety Committee regarding the replacement of the Operations team's Personal Protective Equipment (e.g. safety shoes, safety vest, etc.).
    4. Compliance and Reporting:
      • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements;
      • Submit a monthly inventory report of received and outgoing stocks of raw materials to the Assistant Manager of Operations;
      • Prepare necessary reports required by government agencies for regulated raw materials;
      • Create and maintain records of assets in the warehouse;
      • Report to and consult the Assistant Manager of Operations on the management of the warehouse and fleet;
      • Assist the Vice President for Supply Chain and/or the Assistant Manager of Operations in the development and management of budgets related to activities of the department.
    5. Other Relevant Tasks: Other relevant tasks assigned from time to time by the Vice President for Supply Chain, Assistant Manager for Operations and Logistics, and Management.
