Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to help us deliver accurate, complete, and timely financial reports. This role plays a critical component in our day-to-day accounting and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and post daily journal entries for various transactions, including accruals and adjustments.
  • Maintain, update, and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Support Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) with granular and financial statement inquiries.
  • Draft and send invoices to clients and/or draft bills received from vendors.
  • Consolidate and send documents (invoices/payment proof/bank statement).
  • Collaborate in the integration of systems, processes, and reporting structures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an accounting professional, preferably with expertise in external and/or internal audit, or an accounting firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with all Microsoft Office applications and the Google Workspace.
  • Ability to comprehend legal agreements between entities, whether clients or vendors.
  • Experience in using accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, and Zoho.
  • Ability to reconcile external documentation and company records to ensure that transactions match and resolve discrepancies, if any.
  • Ability to make adjustments as needed, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries.
  • Experience in intercompany reconciliation.
  • Ability to comprehend essential financial statements like the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
