About the Role

As a Digital Payment Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of our mobile banking technology. You will oversee the project timeline and scope of deliverables for both back-end and mobile developers within the Scrum team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure completion of sprint backlog within the allotted time for the sprint, and oversee the overall project timeline and scope of the deliverables being worked on by the Scrum Team.
  • Plan phases of mobile development for projects with the Scrum Team and Product Owner, and work closely with technical (iOS and Android developers, API and Web developers, QAs) and functional teams (Product Team).
  • Monitor and decide on Change Management for the Android and iOS application as well as back office platforms, dashboard, and APIs.
  • Handle and resolve escalated issues and concerns within the Scrum Team to upper management.
  • Ensure features and products that will allow growth of Komo are launched on time and on budget.


Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's/College Degree in either Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or any related course.
  2. Certification in Agile/Scrum, Six Sigma, or any project management and process improvement accreditations is preferred.
  3. At least 5-8 years of work experience in the capacity of either Head of Mobile Development, Head of DevOps, Service Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or equivalent role.
  4. In-depth understanding of Android and iOS app and backend development, and with experience working as part of an Agile team (Scrum and/or Kanban).
  5. Advanced knowledge and expertise in handling mobile application projects and back office platform development.
  6. Advanced Project Management Skills with experience on various Project Management and SDLC methodologies.
  7. Experience in handling or leading a big development team.
  8. Excellent partnering, communication, and negotiation skills, and execution in working with various Technology or partner Teams.
