Job Title: Senior Software Development Leader

 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced senior software development leader to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading and implementing technical decisions and efforts of a software engineering team.

 

Main Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver complex software projects.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with scrum masters, project managers, and other software engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web-based and desktop applications.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership in all aspects of software development processes.
  • Software System Design: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new software systems and enhancements to existing systems.

 

Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 7+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years in leadership.
  • Tech Stack Proficiency: Proficient in multiple languages (Java, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.) and full-stack development.
  • Modern Architectures: Experience with modern architectures (microservices, event-driven), CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Software Development Practices: Strong knowledge of software development practices (OOP, functional programming, scripting, UX best practices, unit testing, TDD/BDD, Agile/Scrum, database management).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and client management skills.
