IT Support Specialist

Other Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively planning to ensure zero downtime in operations.
  • Providing exceptional customer service for IT and management requests.
  • Continuously improving IT knowledge through training and development.
  • Contributing ideas and solutions to the IT knowledge base.
  • Buidling strong relationships with management, clients, and team members.
  • Maintaining hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Managing and following up on open tickets, ensuring proper response and resolution.
  • Escalating unresolved issues to the IT Manager.
  • Evaluating current and upcoming hardware and software standards.
  • Participating in IT projects as assigned.
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of IT support experience, with a background in customer service or IT support roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Mac, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
  • Understanding PC hardware components and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Windows networking, LAN/WAN, DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with remote connectivity issues.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
