Machinist Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist Specialist to join our team at SKILLS INTERNATIONAL CO.

As a Machinist Specialist, you will be responsible for operating industrial tools and machinery to fabricate parts according to drawings and assembly instructions. You will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to read detail drawings and assembly drawings to understand the manufacturing process.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with hydraulic presses and tube mills, as well as knowledge of operating measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes. You should also have experience controlling all sizes of tubes as required.

A strong understanding of steel fabrication processes is essential, including the ability to read and interpret drawings and assembly instructions. You must also be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial tools and machinery to fabricate parts according to drawings and assembly instructions

• Monitor and maintain quality control standards

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar field
• Experience working with hydraulic presses and tube mills
• Knowledge of operating measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
