Job Description

**Production Planning Specialist**

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Specialist to join our team at Inventory Exchange Holdings. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for generating a Long Term Production Plan (LTPP) based on the rolling forecast from the Customer Service Department and clients' 12 months grid plan, if available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate a Long Term Production Plan (LTPP) based on the rolling forecast and clients' 12 months grid plan
  • Generate a Long Term Material Requirement Plan (LTMRP) based on the LTPP
  • Create Weekly Pull-out and Dispatch Plan and input on the Trucking order fulfillment Google sheet
  • Ensure implementation of No Purchase Order, No Production Policy
  • Firm up daily trip requirements, pull-out, and dispatch based on availability of stocks and output produced by operations
  • Ensure daily availability of stocks on hand prior to scheduling of production to avoid overstock and out-of-stock occurrences
  • Prepare Purchase Request (PR) for InEx packaging materials based on clients' Purchase Order (PO) and ordering point established from Safety Stock Level (SSL)
  • Verify and check physical items delivered by suppliers/source through Soft ledger and database entries
  • Coordinate with clients and/or CSD regarding new projects, including volume projection, product specifications, and material requirements
  • Coordinate with Production, QC, and IE in accordance with material, manpower, and machine availability
  • Create Daily Production Schedule (DPS) for Production Supervisor's reference
  • Create Daily Material Requirement from DPS for Warehouse team's reference
  • Interact with Production, QC, IE, and CSD to resolve material issues affecting the plan
  • Maintain daily update of Inventory of Capability and Utilization, Order Fulfillment Status Report, Pull-out and Dispatch Trip Requirement Plan, Packaging Materials Supportability Report, Safety Stock Level (SSL), and other reports as necessary
  • Coordinate with Trucking, CSD, Production, QC, IE, and other departments to ensure seamless and efficient day-to-day planning and warehouse operations
  • Provide daily updates for PO/Projects bundling status and PM Supportability
  • Create, update, and firm up the Weekly Production Schedule (WPS) daily and send it to concerned departments
  • Coordinate and align with Clients to ensure plans and other related concerns
  • Responsible for items clean up, particularly on left over materials for closed PO/Projects
  • Perform cross-checks on each PBOM, including BOM setup in the database, before using in planning
  • Prepare other reports as requested by clients, management, CSD, Trucking, and/or other departments
  • Prepare and submit complete and accurate weekly and monthly Production Planning and Inventory Control (PPIC) reports and ensure timely submission of the same
  • Ensure all reports are with the knowledge and approval of the department/business unit head and/or designate
  • Fully adhere to the company's code of discipline
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the PPIC Head and/or Business Unit Head

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience in production planning and inventory management
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
