General Accounting Role

The primary function of a General Accountant is to handle accounting tasks remotely for various companies, maintaining accurate financial records and adhering to established standards.

  • Maintain accurate ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities efficiently.
  • Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing precise financial data and analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a large accounting firm, is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is expected.
