We are seeking a highly skilled Short-Term Planner to join our team at Royal Caribbean Group. As a key member of our Fleet Operations department, you will be responsible for carrying out short-term workforce planning and logistics for functional departments.

The successful candidate will follow operational guidelines and directives from Fleet Operations, Long-term Planner, and the functional SME. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities to effectively plan and coordinate logistics for 'just in time' sign on/off.

  1. Short-Term Manpower Planning: Provides short-term manpower plans (schedules) for departments and/or positions as assigned.
  2. Information Management: Provides functional areas within Fleet Operations with systematic information supporting an effective par level planning process and related procedures.
  3. Logistics Coordination: Coordinates logistics for 'just in time' sign on/off, acting as a liaison between Corporate Travel, shipboard management, and external hiring sources.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensures effective communication with SMEs, Long-term Planners, Crew Assist, and Post Movement Analysts in areas related to manpower planning, succession planning, recruitment, scheduling, and logistics as appropriate.
