Job Title: Master Craftsman - Masonry Specialist

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Description:Masonry Work

The Master Craftsman - Masonry Specialist will be responsible for maintaining tools and workspaces, cutting, shaping, and dressing materials, lifting, carrying, and placing prepared blocks, reading and following technical drawings, training apprentices, mixing cement and mortar, and restoring old and worn masonry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain tools and workspaces in good condition
  • Cut, shape, and dress materials according to specifications
  • Lift, carry, and place prepared blocks safely and efficiently
  • Read and follow technical drawings to ensure accurate construction
  • Train and mentor apprentices in masonry skills and techniques
  • Mix and apply cement and mortar to achieve desired results
  • Restore old and worn masonry to its original condition
Requirements:Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in masonry or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in masonry work, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects
  • Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
