Data Insights Specialist - Hybrid BGC

About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team in Manila.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, ability to work with large amounts of information and data to see the big picture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using various BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Dundas BI.
  • Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • You will also be expected to develop an in-depth understanding of underlying data structures and business uses of data.
  • Gather and document functional and technical requirements, and translate requirements into reporting solutions, analytic tools, and dashboards that, in turn, deliver actionable data to end users.
  • Develop expertise in business operations and how data supports those operations to provide the most effective business intelligence solutions possible.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Design, Math, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Information Science or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in designing data visualizations is desirable.
  • Experience working as a Data Scientist is desirable.
  • Direct work experience in any BI tools: Dundas BI, Tableau, Spotfire, Microsoft PowerBI, PowerPivot, or Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Data Bricks, or similar.
  • Ability to present design and work samples of completed data visualization projects is required.
  • Familiar with fact/dimension data modeling and validating results of data transformation processes.
