Engineering Leadership Position

We seek an experienced and skilled Engineering Director to oversee our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, excellent communication skills, and experience managing complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all systems and equipment.
  • Lead, train, and manage the engineering team, ensuring high performance, safety, and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including fire/life safety, environmental, and building codes.
  • Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices to reduce our environmental footprint.
  • Oversee renovation and construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
  • Respond promptly to guest and operational issues related to engineering and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of engineering leadership experience in a luxury resort or hotel setting.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with energy management systems and sustainability practices.
