Java Developer Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Java developer to lead our team and design, develop, and implement robust and scalable Java-based applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development, strong technical leadership skills, and the ability to provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.

This role requires a deep understanding of Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and microservices architecture. The successful candidate will also have excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of extensive Java development experience in enterprise-level applications
  • Proven experience in lead or senior developer role with demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Deep expertise in Java 8+ and its core libraries, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, data structures
  • Microservices architecture and RESTful API design experience
  • Proficiency in database technologies and ORM frameworks
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
  • Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) experience
  • Strong testing methodologies and tools understanding
Desirable Skills
  • Front-end technologies experience (React, Angular, Vue.js)
  • Continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines knowledge
  • Open-source project contributions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement complex Java applications and services
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Java developers
  • Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure code quality
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications
  • Drive technology adoption and process improvement
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Contribute to continuous software development lifecycle (SDLC) improvement
