Job Description

We seek a seasoned Web Developer to propel our digital presence forward. This role entails leading the evolution of our WordPress ecosystem, developing new features, templates, and custom plugins, enhancing performance and security, and maintaining reliable deployments.

Our ideal candidate will drive SEO outcomes by implementing technical SEO, schema markup, Core Web Vitals improvements, site architecture, internal linking, and content templates that rank and convert.

Furthermore, they will lift visual design and UX, producing clean component libraries, accessible UI, and mobile-first experiences that are fast and delightful.

Key responsibilities include improving conversion rates, creating testable landing pages, running A/B tests, tracking funnels, and using analytics to make evidence-based decisions.

The successful candidate will ensure accessibility and quality, following WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines, writing maintainable code, and implementing automated checks and CI/CD.

Lastly, they will own telemetry and reliability, setting up monitoring and error tracking, managing hosting and CDN, and keeping environments healthy and secure.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • WordPress at a deep level, PHP, custom themes, ACF, Gutenberg, WooCommerce
  • HTML and CSS, Tailwind or similar utility CSS, component-driven design
  • DevOps and hosting, Git and GitHub, CI/CD, AWS or similar, Docker, Cloudflare
  • SEO and analytics, GA4, Google Search Console, Tag Manager, Hotjar or similar, A/B testing tools, Rank Math or Yoast
  • Performance, image optimization, caching, lazy loading, database tuning, Core Web Vitals
