Job Summary

\

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a key member of our business analytics team, you will work closely with our Loyalty Program Manager to design, develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth.

\

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Analyzing business needs and developing data models to support strategic decision-making\
  • Designing and implementing data visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders\
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and develop data-driven solutions\
  • Maintaining and enhancing existing data frameworks and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency\
  • Presenting opportunities for improvement through analysis and data visualization\
  • Working with colleagues to assess improvement areas in the seafarer experience\
  • Developing and maintaining expertise in BI reporting tools and data quality tools\
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence and data science\
  • Familiarity with database design, SQL, and Python programming languages\
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights to senior stakeholders\
  • Independently identifying, analyzing, and proposing solutions to problems\\/ul\

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

\
  • \
  • 2 years' experience as a data analyst or business intelligence developer\
  • Knowledge of foundational data management areas, such as Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Architecture, and Data Integration\
  • Ability to model a business, operating model, structure, drivers, and processes\
  • Familiarity with bulk data manipulation and import procedures\
  • Knowledge of cross-business data and spoken and written English\
  • Basic database design, SQL, and Python skills\\/ul\

Preferred Qualifications

\

A strong background in the shipping industry, experience within a loyalty program, and experience using AI to solve problems would be highly beneficial.
