Job Title: High Availability Systems Engineer

As a High Availability Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems. You are proactive engineer who thrives in environments where you can automate and improve existing processes.

You have passion for maintaining the stability of production systems and improving overall user experience. You are adept at using monitoring tools to foresee issues before they affect the user and have experience in incident management to resolve issues swiftly.

You will create automation scripts, develop and manage monitoring systems, and set up alerts to proactively address issues. Finally, you are driven by results and are not afraid to make decisions that ensure the robustness and reliability of production systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create automation scripts to improve system efficiency and reliability
  • Develop and manage monitoring systems to detect potential issues
  • Set up alerts to notify teams of potential issues
  • Participate in incident management to resolve issues quickly

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, scripting skills, and CI/CD pipelines
