Job Overview

This is a full-time position that requires onsite onboarding for 2-4 weeks, followed by a transition to a work-from-home setup. The job involves working night shifts following the US Eastern Time Zone.

About the Role

The Construction Estimator will play a critical role in defining the scope of work for project management teams and controlling construction costs. Key responsibilities include gathering and organizing project information, performing quantity takeoffs, and creating detailed estimates using software like On Screen Takeoff or Bluebeam.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and organize all available project information
  • Perform quantity takeoffs for commercial construction projects
  • Assist with construction document review and redlining
  • Create digital takeoffs using OST, Bluebeam, or similar software
  • Estimate components of the scope of work, including material, labor, and equipment
  • Maintain rapport and open communication with the project management team
Requirements:
  • Degree in construction, engineering, business management/finance/accounting, or similar field (preferred)
  • Knowledge of construction components and processes
  • Commercial construction experience across multiple trades (preferred)
  • Experience working with US-based clients (plus)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic takeoff software
