Job Title: Site Protection Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to oversee and ensure the safety of our construction sites. This role involves developing site-specific protection plans, conducting regular inspections, and implementing measures to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive site protection plans using CAD software to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough safety inspections and audits of construction sites to identify potential hazards and address them promptly.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on site safety and compliance matters.
  • Investigate incidents, develop strategies to prevent recurrence, and maintain accurate records of safety activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to foster a culture of safety and promote best practices.
  • Stay updated on changes in safety regulations and industry standards, ensuring that all site activities adhere to established guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Site Protection Specialist or similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for drafting and design.
  • Strong knowledge of site protection plans, OSHA codes, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and proactive identification of safety hazards.
  • Ability to conduct effective safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively with project teams.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Drafting, or related field is advantageous.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with safety management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific safety regulations and best practices.
