We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SMSF Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in SMSF accounting and compliance, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Job OverviewThis role is responsible for managing and processing SMSF accounting and compliance tasks within Class Super. The successful candidate will be confident in using Class Super, Excel, and other relevant tools to prepare workpapers, reconciliations, and reports for SMSF clients.
Key Responsibilities- Process and manage SMSF accounting and compliance tasks within Class Super.
- Prepare workpapers, reconciliations, and reports for SMSF clients.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory documents.
- Perform bank reconciliations, investment reconciliations, and member statements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for SMSF clients.
- Minimum 2+ years' experience working with SMSFs in Australia.
- Strong working knowledge of Class Super.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reconciliations, formulas, data analysis).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
