Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - A Strategic Leadership Role



Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned financial expert with extensive experience in strategic leadership and management. As the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving the organization's financial strategy and overseeing the implementation of various business units' financial plans.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing financial strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate must have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.



Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Manage financial planning and analysis functions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve financial objectives


Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in financial management and administration
  • Proven track record of success in senior leadership roles
  • Sound knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams


Preferred Qualifications
  • CA(SA) qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of corporate governance systems and risk management principles
