Job Title: IT Business Analyst

At Career Professionals, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst to join our team. As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success by analyzing business needs and developing effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements using elicitation techniques and Infomax-approved templates.
  • Business Requirements Documentation: Create comprehensive business requirements documentation and system specifications to drive product development and implementation.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to review, analyze, and evaluate their requirements to implement systems solutions that support their business processes.
  • Functional Specifications: Create functional specifications provided by internal and external stakeholders for Infomax-developed products and services.
  • Process Flow Charting: Develop process flow charts and diagrams to provide a visual overview of business processes.
  • Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison between business users and the technical team to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Software Design Collaboration: Participate in software design collaboration sessions with Solutions Architects and Development teams to define software functionalities and enhancements.
  • Project Management: Manage the development of Infomax-developed products and services, features, and enhancements aligned with each product's roadmap.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate activity schedules and user acceptance with the project delivery team and external clients.
  • Project Scoping and Pricing: Formulate project scoping and pricing of services for project implementation of different packaged solutions proposed to external clients.
  • Cost Management: Document project actualization costs to ensure costs are within budget and alert the Team Lead when actual costs are about to exceed estimated costs.
  • Risk Assessment: Lead Risk Assessment sessions with the Project team to identify risks, ensure mitigating plans are solid, and take responsibility for follow-through of proposed mitigating plans.
  • Build Package Validation: Consolidate and validate build packages and patches endorsed by QA for proper commercial versioning and documentation.
  • Software Issue Monitoring: Monitor software issues of Infomax-developed products and services as handled by the Support team from problem reporting to resolution.
  • Post-Project Meetings: Conduct Post-Project Meetings with the project team to discuss project aspects, lessons learned, and areas for improvement.
  • Issue Resolution: Ensure that all issues encountered during the Project Implementation Phase are properly addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Business User Checkpoints: Conduct regular checkpoints with business users to ensure issues are appropriately addressed.
  • Research and Development: Research new technologies to improve usage of marketed products and applications, as well as to enhance existing packaged solutions for clients.
  • Collaboration Sessions: Participate in collaboration sessions with Solutions Architects and Development teams to discuss prioritization of software functionalities and enhancements.
