Senior Mechanic

Job Title: Mechanical Technician

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective mechanical maintenance activities as per plant safety regulations, preventative maintenance plans, and maintenance procedures.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshooting to identify issues and implement repairs.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to achieve team goals.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or equivalent in a similar power plant or heavy industrial environment.
• Techincal skills certification such as Pipe Fitting, Machinery Installation/Alignment/Repairs, Welding Technology, Valve Repairs, Conveyor Maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery commonly found in power plants.
• Strong understanding of maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and repair methods.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and alignment tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
