Project Coordination Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of fiber optic construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in project coordination, fiber construction deployment, and telecom project management. They will be responsible for coordinating daily activities between field crews, subcontractors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.

The Project Coordinator will build and manage detailed project schedules, monitor milestones, and track daily/weekly progress. They will also provide regular reports to Project Managers and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily execution of fiber deployment projects: micro trenching, directional boring, conduit installation, fiber pulls/splicing, and restoration.
  • Coordinate activities between field crews, subcontractors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Build and manage detailed project schedules.
  • Monitor milestones and ensure field teams are aligned to timelines.
  • Track daily/weekly progress and identify potential delays early.
  • Maintain accurate records: fiber routing plans, permits, construction drawings, and daily updates.
  • Provide regular reports to Project Managers and leadership.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of experience in fiber construction deployment, telecom project coordination, or related fieldwork.
  • Proven ability to build and manage schedules, coordinate field work, and support day-to-day construction activities.
  • Familiarity with Fiber installation standards, Micro trenching & bore methods, Restoration best practices, Utility permitting & inspections
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and project tracking tools.
