Job Title: Packaging Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Designer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing functional, brand-appropriate, and cost-efficient packaging solutions that meet client requirements.

This role involves creating innovative designs that protect products during transportation and storage while also considering branding and visual appeal.

To succeed in this position, you should have excellent design skills, knowledge of packaging materials, and strong organizational abilities.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create folding carton structures to fit specific product dimensions and client needs.
  • Develop dielines and 3D prototypes using ArtiosCAD or Cimex CAD Design.
  • Collaborate with clients and production teams to ensure accurate specifications and production readiness.
  • Recommend box styles and materials based on product protection, cost-efficiency, and branding.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in folding carton/structural packaging design.
  • Proficient in ArtiosCAD or Cimex CAD Design software.
  • Strong understanding of packaging materials, die-cutting, gluing, and finishing processes.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret client needs and translate them into effective packaging solutions.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with various folding styles (e.g., tuck-end, crash bottom, lock bottom, sleeve, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
