Boarding Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Boarding Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our boarding community, you will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for our students.

Your primary role will involve assisting the Head of Boarding with pastoral care and welfare of young people, as well as general functions of the boarding house.

• You will work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the boarding house.
• You will be responsible for supervising students during daily routines, including meal times, study sessions, and leisure activities.
• You will assist in the supervision of student activities and outings, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a warm and welcoming manner towards our students.

• Tutoring, nursing, youth work or residential care experience would be highly advantageous.
• You must have strong interpersonal communication skills and be able to work collegially in a team environment.
• Demonstrate personal maturity and a warm and welcoming manner towards our students.
• A current CPR, First Aid and Duty of Care Certificate or be willing to obtain these credentials within one month of employment.
• A current LR bus licence or willingness to obtain within one month of employment.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain.
