Senior Cyber Security Analyst

The role of a Senior Cyber Security Analyst is to provide strategic guidance and technical expertise in the field of cybersecurity. This includes developing and implementing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing events from various sources to detect threats and respond promptly. You will also collaborate with global teams to achieve tasks and objectives, assist in collecting metrics to measure the efficiency of Security Operations functions, and audit the effectiveness of security measures to ensure they meet Security compliance norms.

This position requires a strong understanding of web technology and web application security, as well as experience with scripting and programming languages such as JavaScript and Python. Additionally, you should have knowledge of managing, securing, and preparing production web environments using tools like Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with global teams to achieve tasks and objectives.
  • Assist in collecting metrics to measure the efficiency of Security Operations functions.
  • Audit the effectiveness of security measures to ensure they meet Security compliance norms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Exposure to web and API security, coding standards, WAFs, advanced persistent threat actors, botnets, and attack mitigation.
  • Hands-on SQL proficiency is essential.
  • Knowledge of managing, securing, and preparing production web environments using tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Threat Hunting - Web/API, web hacking, web data analysis, or WAF hands-on experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of web technology and web application security.
  • Understanding of the cybersecurity threat landscape and the attacker mindset.
  • Experience in scripting and programming (JavaScript, Python, etc.).
  • Interest in keeping up with industry trends and market demands to recommend product enhancements and new sources of intelligence.
  • Demonstrated interest in working with data and metrics as applied to security.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a willingness to innovate and stay curious.
