Job Overview

This is a contract full-time remote position for those based in Brazil.

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Python GenAI Developer. As part of our dynamic and innovative group, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, utilizing your expertise in Python and GenAI tools such as Langchain.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building applications, as well as assisting with component design, development, and maintenance. You will also contribute to Nearform's tooling and open-source projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Build Applications: Utilize your knowledge of Python and GenAI tools to create efficient and effective solutions.
  • Component Design and Maintenance: Assist in the development and upkeep of components, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Contributions to Open-Source Projects: Collaborate with the team to enhance and maintain Nearform's open-source initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Senior Developer Experience: Possess significant experience delivering at a senior level in an enterprise environment.
  • Data Science Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of Data Science techniques, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Agile Environment Experience: Practical experience working in an agile environment.
  • Python Expertise: Proficient in Python programming language.
  • SQL Database Understanding: Familiarity with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Version Control Tools: Experienced with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Security and Performance Considerations: Aware of security and performance considerations in software development.
  • Responsive Design and Mobile Web Development: Understanding of layout aesthetics, responsive design, and mobile web development.
  • Architectural and Design Patterns: Familiarity with architectural and design patterns.
  • Open-Source Technologies: General familiarity with various open-source technologies and tools.
  • Analytical and Multitasking Skills: Excellent analytical and multitasking abilities.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
