Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled EDI Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our EDI systems, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure uninterrupted daily business processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing written materials and quantitative data to interpret findings and develop actionable recommendations. They will also possess expertise in logistics or supply chain management and knowledge of operations management principles and practices.

In this role, you will work closely with our trading partners, order management team, and warehouses to coordinate new EDI implementations, track shipments, inventory, and orders, and resolve billing and rate discrepancies.

As an EDI Analyst, you will be responsible for executing daily transportation requirements, including tracking and scheduling shipments, providing status updates to internal teams and clients, and identifying opportunities to enhance cost efficiency by analyzing client shipment data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain EDI systems to ensure uninterrupted data exchange with partners
  • Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues through collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Coordinate new EDI implementations and document implementations
  • Recommend enhancements to systems and business processes to optimize EDI efficiency
  • Manage aspects of account setup, including generating web users and EDI, BOL, and carrier account numbers
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Transportation Industry or Logistics field
  • 1+ year of experience in Customer Service or related field
  • Experience in managing SPS Commerce
  • Expertise in analyzing written materials and quantitative data to interpret findings and develop actionable recommendations
  • Knowledge of operations management principles and practices
  • Proficiency using logistics software systems to track shipments, inventory, and orders
