Job Description

At Sophos, we are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a DevOps Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and eager to take on new challenges.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our business. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to optimize performance.

  • Support day-to-day coordination of operational activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and IT, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of projects.
  • Design and configure infrastructure to meet business requirements.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide resolution or workarounds.
  • Develop and train users/other support teams on new technologies and best practices.
  • Assist with data migration and integration efforts, including defining data mapping and validation rules.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role using C#.net/Java and willing to cross train into new technologies.
  • Experience in developing features for enterprise level applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
