The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role requires a deep understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Python.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing as needed.
  • Design and execute manual test cases based on software requirements and project specifications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings as part of an agile development team.
  • Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing and manual testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright for automation testing.
  • Exposure to NodeJS is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with API testing and web services (RESTful APIs).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-sufficient within a team environment.
