A Financial Compliance Specialist is needed to join our team at Australian Outsource Desk Inc. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in accounting and taxation for Australian clients, with a strong focus on ensuring compliance with Australian laws and regulations.

About the Position:
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and other compliance reports.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and manage general ledger transactions.
  • Process payroll, including PAYG, Superannuation, and other payroll obligations.
  • Assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure tax compliance and liaise with Australian clients and tax authorities.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary financial documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience for Australian clients.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian taxation, GST, BAS, and payroll regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with international clients.
