Knowledge Management Specialist Role

The primary responsibility of the Knowledge Management Specialist is to ensure the overall health and best practices of a knowledge base. This involves creating guidelines for capturing information, maintaining its quality, and preventing staleness.

Main Responsibilities
  • Define Content Strategy
  • Maintain High-Quality Information across various skill levels by creating new content and updating existing articles based on campaigns, policies, or procedures.
  • Analyze Business Impact by evaluating data (KPIs, Quality, searches, views) to identify areas for improvement and create innovative solutions.
  • Establish Writing Guidelines based on knowledge management best practices.
  • Review and Implement Suggestions.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on product specifics to ensure accuracy in article content.
  • Monitor and Suggest Updates to maintain relevance.
  • Edit All Work for spelling/grammar, conciseness/clarity, and accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in content writing.
  • Experience in independently creating engaging online articles, guides, and user support content.
  • Proficiency with writing and graphics tools and apps, including online platforms.
  • Ability to analyze data and create innovative solutions.
  • Collaborative mindset, service orientation, and self-development skills.
