About the Role

We are seeking an experienced backend engineer to join our R&D team. You will design and implement scalable backend architecture, build APIs and services, and manage deployments/DevOps.

This is a standalone role that requires working autonomously with minimal supervision, driving projects end-to-end.

While prior experience in AI or machine learning is not required, it will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement backend architecture for secure systems.
  • Build APIs and services to support data processing, integrations, and real-time applications.
  • Manage deployments and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability across systems.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate backend solutions with various applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more modern backend languages: Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask), Node.js, Go, or Java.
    • Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), APIs, and microservices.
    • Hands-on DevOps experience: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
    • Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
    • Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
