Job Overview

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget while aligning with business objectives. They coordinate between technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Liaise with business leaders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment.
  • Facilitate meetings, provide status updates, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during project execution.
  • Implement best practices for IT project management to minimize risks.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in IT project management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and cloud computing.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
