We are seeking an experienced HR Supervisor to oversee our day-to-day HR processes, analyze data and metrics, and manage compliance with regulatory requirements. This role will play a critical part in maintaining a positive work environment and ensuring that our employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.

We estimate that this position comes with a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, taking into account the seniority and experience required for the role.

About the Role:

  • Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day HR processes, managing employee relations, and coordinating with government agencies, insurers, and shipowners.
  • Utilize analytical skills to review HR data and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize HR processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, utilizing technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, or related field.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications and proficiency in using electronic records and databases.
  • Proven experience in all aspects of HR, including recruitment, career development, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and compliance.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
