Financial Operations Specialist\

This is a key role in our financial team that focuses on managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing, and maintaining accurate financial records.

The Financial Operations Specialist will work closely with an international team to handle client communications and support the overall financial strategy. This includes performing general bookkeeping duties, such as data entry and bank reconciliation, assisting with financial reporting and basic analysis, and handling accounts payable and tax compliance documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine accounting tasks including data entry and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • Manage accounts payables and ensure timely payments are made.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve financial goals.

Core Expertise:

  • Managing end-to-end accounts receivable processes from invoicing to reconciliation.
  • Ensuring timely collection of payments and maintaining accurate AR ledgers.
  • Following up professionally with clients on overdue invoices.
  • Handling client inquiries regarding payments and terms.
  • Implementing effective collection strategies in line with compliance standards.
  • Generating AR reports and suggesting improvements to AR workflows.

Requirements:

  • Around five years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Strong background in accounts receivable processes, preferably in Australia.
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams.
  • Strong English language skills (verbal and written).
