Job Overview:

The Payroll Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our compensation system. This position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll data accurately and efficiently, meeting deadlines for regular payrolls and special payments.
  • Prepare detailed payroll reports for review and approval by the Finance Department.
  • Coordinate with employees to ensure timely receipt of payslips and resolve any discrepancies.
Benefits Administration:
  • Collaborate with the Finance Department to administer benefits, including 13th month pay and bonuses.
  • Prepare summary reports on annual benefit payments for management review.
Final Pay Calculation:
  • Compute final pay for departing employees, taking into account various factors such as unpaid leave, tax adjustments, and approved allowances.
Compliance and Reporting:
  • Prepare and submit necessary documents, including the annual BIR alphalist and employees' BIR Form 2316.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as human resources or business administration.
  • At least five years of experience in payroll or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities.
