Key Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, HR Learning and Development will be responsible for providing strategic support to the JGU Head in managing the company's learning entity. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing the Learning Strategy: Participate in the development and implementation of the overall learning strategy and operation.
  2. Growing JGU Initiatives: Grow, develop, and expand the JGU learning initiatives and services within the organization.
  3. Fostering Collaborations: Partner with global and regional stakeholders to drive JGU initiatives and foster a continuous learning culture within the organization.
  4. Vendor Management and Policy Execution: Monitor the execution of policies and standards jointly defined and agreed on by various Academies and lead the identification, selection, and management of third-party vendors for JGU initiatives.
  5. Data-Driven Solution Development: Develop and create solutions for different JGU initiatives based on learning data and report on learning requirements such as those gathered from learning needs analyses and other data analytics on the effectiveness of and availability of specific learning interventions.
Academy Partnerships and Curriculum Development

Works closely with Academy Business Sponsors to align each academy's strategy with the overall learning and development strategy.

  • Building Academy Capacity: Partners with the Business Sponsor to build Academy capability, develops, maintains, and enhances the Academy portfolio in consideration of existing and emerging capabilities.
  • Leading the ADDIE Process: Leads the ADDIE process and acts as a consultant/expert for the Academies in partnership with different Global COEs, regions, and stakeholders.
  • Curriculum Development and Evaluation: Ensures that Academy SMEs, trainers, and facilitators champion the learner experience and promote the learning philosophy and related policies in the areas of curriculum development, program content design, evaluations, and assessment.
Curriculum Framework and Content Development

Defines the curriculum framework, design, development, and evaluation.

  • Policies, Processes, and Standards: Defines policies, processes, and standards for the enterprise curricula review.
  • Content Development Strategies: Defines and executes content development strategies for multiple modalities, platforms, and different audience types.
  • LMS Usage and Management: Oversees LMS usage and management in alignment with curricular requirements.
  • Annual Learning Plans and Budgets: Participates in the development of annual learning plans and budgets for programs.
