Data Management and Monitoring Expert

The role of the Data Management and Monitoring Expert in this position plays a key part in ensuring accurate management of data across various client portfolios.

  • Identify and request missing or substituted meter data for effective use of internal systems.
  • Manually upload and verify data in the CRM system to ensure its accuracy.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to solar and substituted data to maintain data quality.
  • Escalate unresolved data issues to the relevant team lead for timely resolution.

New Data Feed Management

  • Review and activate new meter data feeds to facilitate seamless data integration.
  • Manage CRM tickets related to new feed activations to prevent any disruptions.

Stakeholder Communication and Support

  • Provide responsive service to internal and external stakeholders through effective communication.
  • Coordinate with external parties for data access to ensure smooth operations.
  • Respond promptly to team queries to foster a collaborative environment.

System and Record Maintenance

  • Ensure accuracy of data in internal systems and service records by regular updates.
  • Maintain up-to-date and consistent customer records to provide accurate insights.

General Responsibilities

  • Participate in team collaboration and knowledge sharing to enhance professional growth.
  • Support reporting tasks and ad hoc departmental needs to meet business objectives.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development to stay updated with industry trends.
  • Uphold data confidentiality and service standards to maintain trust with clients.
  • Take ownership of task quality and timeliness to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

  • A minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, supported by a relevant degree in Business Administration, IT, or Data Analytics.
  • Experience in data entry is required, with experience in a metering, energy services, utilities, or data-intensive environment highly desirable.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is essential for efficient work flow.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are necessary for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent planning, time management, and self-organisation skills are required for meeting deadlines.
  • Strong initiative, resourcefulness, and results-driven approach are necessary for achieving business goals.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset are essential for teamwork and knowledge sharing.
