As a Financial Accountant at Pleco Inc., you will be responsible for providing support to the Group Financial Controller in the preparation of financial and management reporting.

The successful candidate will have experience with month end reporting, financial reporting, and management reporting.

  • Prepare month end work files, journals, and reconciliations.
  • Assist the Group Financial Controller in preparing annual financial statements and engaging with the audit team.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and coordinate Board reports on a timely basis.

You will also be responsible for tax compliance, including preparing and managing compliance with statutory taxation obligations and liaising with professional advisers.

A key aspect of this role is improving systems and processes within the finance team, identifying opportunities for efficiencies through better utilization of software.

You will also be responsible for maintaining a best practice control environment to minimize risks to the business.
