As a Virtual Chemistry Teacher, your mission is to provide high-quality educational experiences for learners through technology. You will create engaging lesson plans, utilize online tools, teach live classes, evaluate student work, and provide constructive feedback in a fully remote environment.

To be eligible for this role, candidates must have the following qualifications:

  • A valid US state-issued Chemistry teaching certification (International certificates are not accepted)
  • A Social Security number
  • Proficiency in virtual teaching tools and resources

Preferred qualifications include:

  • One or more years of teaching experience

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Create engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
  • Utilize online tools to differentiate instruction and engage students
  • Teach live lessons during regular school hours (minimum 4 hours)
  • Grade assignments and provide feedback to support student growth
  • Represent the organization positively in all interactions

Hardware requirements include a laptop or desktop (Windows 10/11 or MacOS 10.14+), two monitors, and reliable internet (minimum 50 Mbps download).
