Software Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team as a key contributor. This is a remote position that requires proficiency in Japanese and expertise with the MERN stack.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, as well as the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

They will also be able to communicate effectively with both Japanese and English-speaking team members and participate in agile sprints, contribute to planning, code reviews, and testing.

In addition, the candidate should have experience integrating and optimizing AI tools and APIs to improve workflows and product functionality.

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
  • Collaborate with the product and design teams to build high-quality user interfaces and APIs.
  • Participate in agile sprints, contribute to planning, code reviews, and testing.
  • Integrate and optimize AI tools and APIs to improve workflows and product functionality.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Japanese (written, spoken, and listening)/ JNLPT2.
  • Extensive experience with the MERN stack.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Experience working in remote and cross-cultural teams.
  • Strong understanding of Git and development best practices.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, automation scripts) for productivity and efficiency.
