About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Coordinator to oversee and manage multiple projects involving low-voltage systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, burglar alarms, and network infrastructure installations.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of construction workflows, building infrastructure, and the integration of low-voltage systems into construction projects. They will also possess strong technical knowledge of low-voltage systems and networking equipment.

This is a challenging role that requires excellent project management skills, technical expertise, and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Oversight of multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
    • Development and management of project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and timelines.
    • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress towards project goals.
  • Design & Technical Support:
    • Designing layouts for access control systems, surveillance cameras, and other low-voltage systems using industry-standard tools.
    • Configuration, installation, and commissioning of systems, including cameras, access control devices, burglar alarms, and networking equipment.
    • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to system installation or equipment performance.
  • Team & Ticket Coordination:
    • Management of service tickets for IRC, APS, and MAE contract services.
    • Assignment of tasks to technicians and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out professionally and efficiently.
    • Monitoring of team progress, identification of potential delays, and guidance on technical, logistical, and operational challenges.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Coordination and verification of invoices from technicians and subcontractors.
    • Maintenance of accurate records of project documentation, client communications, equipment orders, and other essential project materials.
    • Use of project management tools to update project statuses, track progress, and generate detailed progress reports.
  • Procurement & Logistics:
    • Estimation and organization of material and equipment ordering, ensuring timely availability of resources.
    • Coordination of delivery and scheduling of equipment, tools, and other resources to support project execution.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of low-voltage systems and networking equipment.
  • Excellent project management skills, including schedule management, budgeting, and team coordination.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in managing complex low-voltage systems projects.
