We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team and elevate our content across multiple platforms.

About the Role

This part-time position involves editing two long-form YouTube videos per week, using voiceovers and gameplay footage. You will be responsible for adding engaging text overlays, basic animations, and smooth transitions to enhance viewer retention. Additionally, you will organize and manage large video files and project assets efficiently, collaborate with our team via Discord, and use Google Drive and Workspace to manage files and maintain version control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit two long-form YouTube videos per week using voiceovers and gameplay footage
  • Add engaging text overlays, basic animations, and smooth transitions to enhance viewer retention
  • Organize and manage large video files and project assets efficiently
  • Collaborate with our team via Discord to receive feedback and align on creative direction
  • Use Google Drive and Workspace to manage files and maintain version control
Requirements
  • Proven experience editing YouTube videos, ideally in the gaming or content creation niche
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects) or other professional video editing tools
  • Strong editing skills, including cutting gameplay footage, syncing audio, and creating engaging motion graphics and text overlays
  • Ability to effectively match voiceovers or commentary with gameplay footage
