Remote accounting opportunities are available with top US and European companies. As a general accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Financial Statement Preparation:
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Closing Activities:
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Account Reconciliations:
  • Conduct account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate financial data and analysis.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably with experience in a large accounting firm.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Intacct, etc.) preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
