Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of college and SHS assets.
  • Coordinate acquisition processes for new fixed assets, including purchase orders, receipts, and asset tagging.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with disposal policies for obsolete assets.
  • Accurately record depreciation expenses based on applicable methods and schedules.
  • Support development of sound policies for efficient asset management.
  • Monitor and report CAPEX budget status.
  • Process disbursement requests for college, verifying invoice details against purchase orders and delivery receipts.
  • Ensure timely fund disbursements through bank transfers.
  • Audit payroll reports, process payroll crediting, and record payroll transactions.
  • Monitor spending to ensure adherence to budget allowances.
  • Issue official receipts to students in a timely manner or scan and print prior to issuance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountants (CPA) are preferred but not required.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, including payables, receivables, disbursements, collections, and financial analysis.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of English language (written and verbal).
  • Familiarity with various accounting software is advantageous.
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and processes is beneficial.
